Taberna Salis

One of the best restaurants I've encountered recently. Fresh food, super friendly service in a chill atmosphere at a super reasonable cost. The owner / maitre d talked me through the choices (no menu) and made suggestions based on my responses. The result was a super meal that I really enjoyed. Cannot recommend enough...its enough to make a trip to Crespino just to eat here (remember to book in advance though).

Taberan Salis. I tried this restaurant which I had heard about for some time. I managed to go on Sunday evening, the only day of the weekend that can be booked quickly because reservations for Friday or Saturday start the week before... Good for them because they deserve it. We then went for dinner and followed their advice on choices. The lady is spectacularly kind and willing to meet your needs. The environment is beautiful, warm and the stay is accompanied by background jazz music, very relaxing and inviting. We started with some mixed crostini... fantastic, you have to eat them slowly to savor them properly. After which I continued with an Angus cut, absolutely rare. Very tasty and very tender. Drank well on the advice of the Lady and also spent the right amount. Friendly and very helpful staff. I can say it's worth trying again. Good

Very welcoming place, with several tastefully furnished rooms full of antiques, at certain moments I felt like I was going back in time! As a starter we ordered a selection of cheeses and crostini, all really excellent! No first courses, so we moved directly to the second course with two nice cuts of Black Angus and seasonal side dishes. All accompanied by a good wine. Friendly service and menu explained in detail verbally, excellent quality of raw materials and fair bill. Until next time!

Excellent food Parties with various types of bruschetta Worth mentioning are those with livers The meats are good, especially the Florentine The goose breast is excellent, the lamb meat is decent The cold cuts are also good The wine: Altemasi excellent, the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo decent, which in any case had to be served before the meat was served. Decent desserts. Better to park in Piazza Crespino

Environment with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room I prefer is the one with the ancient fireplace; the furnishings are traditional country ones embellished with collections of antique furniture and handcrafted pieces. The dishes are excellent: from cheeses to cured meats, from meat to homemade desserts. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money!

The restaurant is right in the center of Crespino, a small town in the lower Polesine! Very very nice with particular furnishings to my taste and welcoming!!! In the menu which is said verbally, not many courses but few and of high quality!!!! The meat and cheeses that I tasted were excellent!!!! Fast and friendly service!!! WELL DONE!!!!!
